Presets: Using, Managing & Importing

Apply recommended presets, build your own library, import third-party presets, and sync settings across images.

Article· 6 min

Presets are the backbone of an efficient Evoto workflow. They let you save, reuse, and share editing styles across images and projects. Evoto provides Recommended presets, supports Team presets, and lets you build a personal My Presets library.

How to do it

  1. In the Floating Widget (left), click Presets to open the presets panel.

  2. Browse Recommended Presets — these are curated by Evoto and provide solid starting points for common styles.

  3. To save your own preset, edit an image, then click Save Preset. Name it and optionally assign it to a group.

  4. Import third-party presets via the Presets panel — Evoto supports .xmp and .cube file-based presets synced from desktop.

  5. Use Sync (bottom of Quick Access panel) to apply adjustments from one image to others. Sync supports Color, Portrait, Background, Clothing, and Crop & Rotate settings.

  6. For team workflows, link your account to a team admin to access shared Team Presets.

Try it

Apply a recommended preset to one image, adjust the Color sliders to taste, then save it as a custom preset. Apply that preset to 3 more images using Sync.

Watch out for

  • Presets include all enabled adjustments by default — uncheck categories you do not want to overwrite.

  • Team presets only appear when your account is properly linked to the team admin.
