Sky Replacement swaps a blown-out, overcast, or boring sky with a more dramatic or fitting option. The AI detects the sky boundary, and you can fine-tune with the Manual Tuning Pen and sky-specific adjustment controls.
How to do it
Open Sky Replacement from the Background module.
Browse the Sky Selection library to choose a replacement sky.
The AI detects and replaces the sky automatically, blending it with the foreground.
Use the Manual Tuning Pen Tool to refine the boundary, especially around trees, buildings, and irregular rooflines.
Sky Adjustments: fine-tune the replacement sky brightness, contrast, saturation, and position to match the scene lighting.
Try it
Open a real estate exterior with a washed-out sky. Replace it with a blue sky with clouds, then adjust brightness and saturation to match the building exposure.
Watch out for
Tree branches and power lines create challenging edge detection — use Manual Tuning for cleanup.
Sky reflections in windows or water will not match the new sky automatically.
