Presence settings add depth and clarity, HSL gives you per-color control, and Color Calibration corrects RGB channel shifts. Together, these tools let you shape the color character of your image with surgical precision.
How to do it
Presence: use Dehaze to cut atmospheric haze for clearer outdoor shots. Keep values moderate — the effect is intentionally strong.
HSL (Hue, Saturation, Luminance): Evoto provides controls for 8 color ranges: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Aqua, Blue, Purple, Magenta.
Adjust Hue to shift where a color falls on the spectrum (e.g., make greens more cyan).
Adjust Saturation to intensify or mute specific colors without affecting others.
Adjust Luminance to brighten or darken specific colors (e.g., darken the blue sky without touching skin).
Color Calibration: fine-tune Red, Green, and Blue primary channels by Hue and Saturation to correct color shifts or create stylized looks.
Try it
Open a landscape photo. Use HSL to boost Blue luminance for a brighter sky, increase Green saturation for richer foliage, and dial back Orange saturation to keep any people in the shot looking natural.
Watch out for
High Dehaze values create unnatural over-contrasted looks. Use sparingly.
HSL changes affect the entire image — use Masking for area-specific color edits.
