Install Instant and link your account

Sign the mobile app and the web portal in to the same Evoto account so capture and project sync work on event day.

Article· 4 min

Instant is two surfaces: the mobile app where photos enter, and the web portal where projects, branding, and sharing live. Both must use the same Evoto account or capture will not sync. By the end of this lesson, both surfaces are signed in and recognise each other.

How to do it

  1. Install Evoto Instant from the App Store or Google Play.

  2. Open the web portal at instant.evoto.ai and sign in with your Evoto account.

  3. In the mobile app, sign in with the same account. Check the email shown in the app matches the portal's.

  4. Confirm the phone has at least 5 GB of free storage. Instant queues photos locally before upload.

  5. Allow camera, photo library, and network permissions when the app prompts.

Try it

Open the app and the portal side by side. Capture or import one test photo. It should show up in the portal within a minute. If not, the two surfaces are signed in to different accounts.

Watch out for

  • One teammate signing in on the portal with their personal account while the shooting team uses a shared one.

  • Skipping the portal step entirely. Without a project in the portal, the app has nothing to upload into.
