Lesson 17 of 17Weddings

Hand off a same-day wedding gallery couples and guests can find

Structure the gallery, branding, and share link so the couple can post within an hour and guests can pull their own photos without help.

Article· 6 min

Same-day wedding delivery is the differentiator most couples will tell other couples about. This lesson turns the late-reception scramble into a scripted 30-minute handoff so the couple posts before they leave the venue.

How to do it

  1. Plan the share targets before the day: couple-only preview, guest gallery, social-ready hero set. Each gets its own gallery section in the portal.

  2. Brand and watermark the share once, before the wedding. Doing it during cocktails wastes 20 minutes you do not have.

  3. Approve in chronological order: getting ready → ceremony → portraits → reception. Couples want to relive the day in order.

  4. Use Find Me when guests should pull their own photos with their face. Use a private link when only the couple should see it first.

  5. Send the couple a single short message: one link, one suggested first post, one note that guests can find their own photos at sunset.

Try it

Build a wedding gallery template in the portal: sections for prep / ceremony / portraits / reception, plus pre-set branding and a placeholder welcome note. Reuse it for every wedding instead of rebuilding from scratch.

Watch out for

  • Sending one giant 800-photo dump. Couples cannot find their hero shots, and the gallery feels overwhelming.

  • Forgetting to brief the couple on guest sharing. If they post the private link, the gallery floods with non-guest views.
