Lesson 5 of 17Run a live event from setup to gallery

Connect your camera and capture into the right project

Pick wired or FTP transfer, confirm the active project, and prevent photos from landing in the wrong place during live work.

Article· 6 min

Instant capture succeeds or fails before AI starts. Your first job on the day is to make every photo land in the intended project with a stable transfer method.

How to do it

  1. Open the mobile app and select the project from the previous lesson.

  2. For the most stable on-site setup, connect the camera by USB / OTG when supported.

  3. Use FTP wireless transfer when camera and phone share Wi-Fi or hotspot and cable movement would slow the shoot.

  4. Shoot a test frame. Confirm it appears in the Imported stage.

  5. Only then start client- or guest-facing shooting.

Try it

Run a five-photo rehearsal: connect, capture (or import), confirm the files enter the active project. Practice switching projects only when no live capture is happening.

Watch out for

  • A working camera connection on the wrong active project — always verify the project name.

  • Choosing wireless when the venue Wi-Fi is unstable. Wired is safer for high-pressure events.
