A good export can still fail at handoff. This lesson turns Evoto Video output into a small package that another editor or social teammate can trust.
How to do it
Create a folder per job: client, date, and delivery type.
Name clips by sequence and use case, for example 01-ceremony-wide, 02-speaker-close, or 03-product-hero.
Include one note: reference look, export settings, and whether clips are final or ready for NLE.
Play every exported file from start to finish before handoff.
Send a small review set first if the client still needs to approve color or retouch strength.
Try it
Export three clips and rename them for a real handoff: number, scene, and use case. Add one text note with export settings and next-step ownership.
Watch out for
Sending final-looking clips without saying whether they are approved.
Mixing vertical social clips and horizontal edit clips in one unnamed folder.
