Evoto Video is a render-based workflow. The frame you are editing is a preview until you click Apply Effects. This lesson teaches the safest loop: preview, scrub, apply once.
How to do it
Open the anchor frame from Lesson 1.
Make one portrait or color adjustment: a preset, skin strength, blemish removal, or a small color move.
Scrub forward and backward around the anchor frame. Check faces, hands, movement, and lighting changes.
Adjust strength until the clip still feels natural during motion.
Click Apply Effects only after the look holds across nearby frames.
Play the rendered result. If it fails, undo and rebuild from the anchor instead of patching frame by frame.
Try it
On one clip, test a portrait preset at two strengths. Scrub before applying. Pick the weakest setting that still improves the clip, then apply once.
Watch out for
Applying after every slider move. That rerenders the clip repeatedly.
Judging on a still frame only. Faces and light change during motion.
